Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics
Greg Herczeg studies star and planet formation, protoplanetary disks, and the early evolution of young stars at the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics at Peking University. He is an observational astronomer using many telescopes, including the Atacama Large Millimeter Array and Hubble Space Telescope. Some of his most productive and enjoyable years in research were working as a postdoc with 2018 Kavli Prize winner Ewine van Dishoeck. Despite living in Beijing for almost 7 years, his Chinese is still terrible.
